This is my 12 yr old son's recipe. I hope you like spicy! It's really very good and for a little variation sometimes he adds 3 or 4 chopped dill pickle slices for a slightly chunky bbq sauce.
- 1⁄4 cup williamson brother barbecue sauce
- 1⁄2 cup Open Pit Barbecue Sauce
- 1 tablespoon A.1. Original Sauce
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1⁄4 teaspoon lea and perrin Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon chopped onion
- Mix every thing together.
- NO COOKING IS NEEDED!
Hi Pegger, This sauce was WOW! We loved it! I used all Open Pit and a lot of it. So, I had to add extra of all the other ingredients you listed. Last night I had cooked a roast in the crockpot. I covered it in a little water and some other spices. This morning I took the roast out of the crock pot, discarded the liquid, shredded the meat and put it in the frig. Then I went searching on the Zaar...lol. I came across your sauce and saw that I had all the ingredients. I put all the ingredients in a pot and simmered it until bubbly. Then I took the shredded beef out of the frig and dumped it into the sauce. I cooked it few more minutes until the beef was heated through. I served it on big Hoagie buns with cole slaw on the side. YUM! Thanks for an easy, wonderful sauce. My family loved it!
