Smoked Turkey, bacon, cheeses, tomato and guacamole all on a Croissant? Don't forget the sprouts!
- 4 ounces smoked turkey breast
- 2 slices swiss cheese
- 2 slices tomatoes
- 2 slices red onions
- 2 slices crispy bacon
- 2 tablespoons guacamole
- 1 bunch alfalfa sprout
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 1 croissant, split
- Layer the smoked turkey, cheese, tomato, red onion bacon and lettuce on bottom half of croissant.
- Top with a small bunch of sprouts.
- Spread guacamole on the top half of croissant, place face down on sandwich and serve.
We have a bakery the makes the best croissants and they are big in size. I used them to make this sandwich and it turned out perfect. My husband and I loved the combination of ingredients. Very filling and our tummys were smiling. I used Sue L's guacamole recipe. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Wonderful! Made these for lunch/dinner for the BF and I to each take to work. I came home to a note: "Couldn't wait 'til dinner... this is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten!" Pretty good review if you ask me. I loved them too. The only thing I did differently was that instead of guacamole, I just cut up an avocado and put 1/4 of it on each sandwich. Oh, and I also used a tiny smidge of Olive Oil mayo since I didn't put guac on the croissant. Absolutely wonderful. Thanks for a new summer-dinner- rotation favorite!
I made this just as listed (except I left out the onion) and it was wonderful. I made two of these to take on a picnic for DH and me. This sandwich was so filling, we ended up splitting one and taking the other home for the next day.
