Cake Mix Extender III
"To make up the difference between the new 15.25 ounce to the old 18.25 ounce boxed cake mix required in many recipes, just add 6 tablespoons or 3 ounces to your 15.25 dry mix."

- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
directions
- Whisk all dry ingredients together and store in a air tight container. When you wish to increase a 15.25 ounce cake mix to 18.25 ounces, add three ounces of this mix (6 tablespoons) to your existing cake mix.
- Makes about 6 portions.

I have been using this recipe and the 6 TBSP. amount ever since they changed amounts in the cake mix boxes and it work every time. I make it up and keep it in my pantry...just take out 6 Tbsp and add it in to the dry mix
