A very quick recipe using just four ingredients!
- Mix together and pour into greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 2-25 minutes at 350°F.
This recipe is definitely a winner. I could not find a cherry cake mix so I used a white cake mix and added 1 box of sugarfree cherry jello (smallest box available). It turned out wonderful. The cherry flavor was perfect, not overpowering at all, and the color of the cake was a very bright red color. With the addition of the cherry pie filling, the cake didn't need any type of topping at all, but I did top it with vanilla icing. Perfect dessert!!
These are very tasty - more like a thinner sheet cake than a "bar", but tasty none-the-less! (I usually think of bars as being more dense or cookie-like.) I used a cherry chip cake mix. Very moist, no need for icing or anything! Thanks for sharing :)
