I popped them with a hot air machine and used olive oil instead of butter, i also used dry crushed peppers instead of cayenne pepper... wonderful wonderful flavor :)

I opted not to use butter and used PAM instead. The spices didn't stick and sank to the bottom of the bowl. I would recommend that the butter is a critical part of this recipe.

This was absolutely awesome! Spicy enough that a cold drink is mandatory, with just enough salt. I baked it for about 6 minutes and it stayed nice and crisp even after it sat in the bowl for a while. I wish Amy were still around to share more of her popcorn recipes with us.

Great tasty snack. I wasn't too spicy like I thought it was going to be. Sent it with my husband to a get together, hopefully some will come home =)
