I love cajun seasoning blends bought from the store, but I thought...there must be an alternative to all that salt in my favorite blend. This is what I came up with modified from sunday newspaper clipping.

This recipe was made on 7/12/12 to use on some chicken legs. The ingredients were doubled,and then half was added to the flour that was being used for the chicken legs. After placing the chicken in the hot oil, the remaining seasoning was sprinkled over the chicken.My SO and both really enjoyed the taste. Thanks for posting, and " Keep Smiling :) "
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 -2 lb chicken piece
