I love cajun seasoning blends bought from the store, but I thought...there must be an alternative to all that salt in my favorite blend. This is what I came up with modified from sunday newspaper clipping.
- Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl or jar.
- coat chicken and brown.
This recipe was made on 7/12/12 to use on some chicken legs. The ingredients were doubled,and then half was added to the flour that was being used for the chicken legs. After placing the chicken in the hot oil, the remaining seasoning was sprinkled over the chicken.My SO and both really enjoyed the taste. Thanks for posting, and " Keep Smiling :) "
This is a great blend for Cajun seasoning and one I use often after making up the first batch awhile back! I love it on chicken, shrimp and pork!
I used this on salmon and it turned out great! Nice flavor and it looked good too. I will try it on chicken next time. Thanks Blink!
