A really different stuffing or dressing for your turkey. It is rice based
- 1 lb hot bulk pork sausage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 1⁄2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelopeinstant chicken noodle soup mix
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 3 cups water
- Brown sausage in a Dutch oven, stirring to crumble; drain. Add remaining ingredients, and stir well.
- Place mixture in a lightly greased 12-x8-x 2 inch baking dish. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until moisture is absorbed.
