Cajun Crab Wraps

"A delightfull, tasty treat at outdoor partys. Easy to make. Easy to eat. And a very happy mouthfull when you're done.......A slightly adjusted version of the original recipe from a bottle of Hot Sauce by Sammy Kershaw"s Cajun Crabmeat Bundles. One of the first deep fried tasty morsels helping me learn to enjoy-occasionally-good ole southern Cajun cooking."

  • Melt butter, cream cheese and sour cream together.
  • Add everything else except crab meat and onions.
  • Stir in crabmeart and onions, cook about 5 minutes to blend well.
  • place one heaping teaspoon of mixture in center of wontoon wrapper. Fold 4 corners together and slightly twist to hold closed.
  • Deep fry in hot oil for one or two minutes until wontoon wrappers are golden brown.

Having spent the last 40 years selling recreational equipment in Southern Wisconsin, I have closed my business and finally have time to cook. I never sold anything that anyone ever "had to have".
