This is an easy recipe that delivers a lot of flavor for not a lot of effort! I made this exactly as posted, using 8 oz. of gemelli pasta, which really captured the creamy sauce nicely. At the very end, I only added about 1/2 T. of the Cajun seasoning and onion powder in place of the onion salt. This was the ideal amount of seasoning, in my opinion. We really enjoyed this, and look forward to making it again. Made for Fall PAC 2012.

This has a really good flavor and it makes enough sauce for a lot more than 8 oz. of pasta. I left out the onion salt as I didn't have any. It would probably be great with canned mushrooms added. Made for New Kids on the Block cooking game.

I make a very similar dish without the Cajun seasoning. The addition of the Cajun seasoning brings this dish to a whole new level. Yummylicious! Served mine with sauted' okra and a salad.
