another from my sister...shes the best!!
- 1⁄3 cup oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper (more if wished)
- 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
- 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Toss everything into a blender and blend till smooth.
I made this to go with 'Delicious Chicken Pot Pie' (Recipe #10744 - which was FABULOUS, by the way) tonight and my 6-year-old had four helpings. Will be a staple in my house! I did make it with a raw egg tonight, but will probably try it with a 'pasteurized egg product' the next time to satisfy my (probably unfounded) paranoia about raw eggs. Will update if I try it!
My family loves this - even my 7 year old who up until tasting this, hated lettuce, now she wants lettuce with everything!
I have finally found a terrific recipe for Caesar salad dressing! This was sooo very easy. I dropped all the components in a mixing cup and a couple of hits with my hand mixer and presto! Perfect restaurant quality dressing!
