Perfect Caesar salad

  1. Halve 2 garlic cloves lengthwise.
  2. Heat butter, garlic, 2 tablespoons of oil and salt and pepper until butter is melted.
  3. Remove mixture from heat and infuse for 10 minutes.
  4. Discard garlic.
  5. Toss bread in mixture.
  6. Bake bread, mixing occasionally, at 350 degrees, until golden.
  7. Mash remaining garlic with some salt.
  8. Whisk in lemon juice, Worcestershire, salt & 20 turns of ground pepper.
  9. Beat eggs.
  10. Add eggs to dressing and whisk.
  11. Add olive oil slowly, while whisking.
  12. Toss all components with remaining ingredients.
