As found on the web and posted by Shannon This recipe is intended to be thick like a Caesar dressing should be. Traditionally a caesar salad is dressed with the dressing before serving, its not meant to be poured on or thin.
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
- Whisk all ingredients and chill.
LOVE this dressing! Perfect addition to our salad. Next I will try this on chicken :)
I loved this recipe. I did add a bit more lemon juice. A definite addition to my regular menus. It is thick and I may on occasion add an extra dash of lemon juice to thin.
I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 bcz it came out really thick! I added 1/4 C canola oil to try an thin it out, but it's still pretty thick. I'm not sure if I should add water or more oil. Anyways, the flavor is great, and it's wonderful to be able to make a dressing, rather than buy the unhealthy store version. I think we'll have 2 favorite dressings we can count on now.
