Spasiba! This was truly great Russian tasting comfort food. I served the cabbage recipe over egg noodles. And, to include all the Russian National Vegetables in one meal, we had beets and a cucumber salad as sides. My boys (born in Russia) loved it all. I did cook the sausage in a bit of water for a couple of minutes before adding them - that way, I removed some of the fat.

I made this for your win in Football tag, and I'm so glad I did! This was perfect for a cool night, and very much enjoyed. Everyone cleaned their plates! Thanks for sharing.

The ingredients are basic yet the flavours are outstanding! This went above and beyond my expectations. I had some spicy sausages and it was just fantastic. Also, the more cabbage, the better! Loved the little tang from the vinegar. I'll definitely be making this again; thanks!

Being from the south originally,we eat cabbage and black-eyed peas on New Year's day.I had polish sausage, cabbage and egg noodles on hand and searched for a recipe.Am so glad to find this one.It is cooking now and tastes great.I will be serving on the noodles with buttermilk cornbread and a can of b/e peas. What a meal.A friend had told me she cooks a dish like this but adds the noodles in with sour cream to bind it all together.Sounds good too but I will do that next time. Thanks for the recipe, now if someone would drop in I would have enough to go around.

YUM! I loved how easy fast this was. PLUS it was delicious. A great fall meal and I served it with mashed potatoes too. My husband liked it, but didn't "love" it as much as I did. (He prefers it grilled plain and dips it in bbq...shrug.) Anyway, I'm the cook and THIS is my favorite way. I used lite sausage & it turned out perfect!

Mmm mmm Good Comfort food! I made this as directed with red onion and light polish sausage. I ate a nice big bowl full for lunch all by itself and didn't need anything else. I LOVE the tangy sauce and that the cabbage doesn't get overcooked. Thanks for this EASY KEEPER recipe! Made for the ZWT4- Jefes.

We enjoy cabbage and are always looking for new ways to use it. This recipe was a hit here. I thought everything blended well and had a nice glaze. The tang from the vinegar went well with the dish. Made for ZWT4.

This was very good and easy to make. I cut the recipe in half since it was just the two of us but we could have eaten more just because it was so good. I used seasoned rice wine vinegar.

This was really tasty. Candy enjoyed the cabbage and Tom enjoyed the sausage more. *laugh*. Our son loved this too (which surprised us). Made for ZWT

These ingredients are always a great combination. It comes out with a great tangy (but not too tangy) flavor. I used reduced-fat turkey smoked sausage to cut some fat. I enjoyed this very much and would make this again. Thanx!
