Cabbage With Liquid Smoke

• Cook Time: 1 hrs 10 mins

Ingredients:

Servings: 6

• 6 large mushrooms, sliced
• 2 large onions, chopped roughly
• 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
• salt
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
• 1 cup chopped bell pepper
• 1 cup dry white wine
• 1 medium cabbage (cubed or shredded)

Directions:

1. Put everything except cabbagein a large pot. Cover well with water. Bring to a rolling boil, add cabbage, and bring back to a boil. Lower heat to a bubbly boil and cook until the vegetables are very tender, about 1 hour.

This is a good side dish. I liked the taste of liquid smoke but with 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, it was too spicy for me. And there was too much liquid in it at the end. Maybe I would try with less wine. Thanks Debbie :) Made for Healthy tag game
