This is an exceptional way to serve cabbage, and we enjoyed it. Used all the spices and wouldn't change a thing. Could use a bit less simmering time as it became dry. Thanks for posting, Sharon.

Delicious! Didn't have turmeric on hand so used curry. Used full three tablespoons of organic unsweetened coconut so wonderful coconut flavor. Went with chili powder option and it blended very nicely. Cooking time less as others have experienced. Even better next day. Thank you for sharing this winner Sharon123

Excellent cabbage dish, made it to go with my Irish corned beef, a perfect pairing!

We both realli liked this dish. I really wanted to use sweetened coconut but glad I didn't as it seemed to have it's own natural sweetness. Didn't have to cook it quite as long as recipe stated. I did use chili powder but think it added to the color more than the flavor. Thanks for the different recipe!

Really brings out the fresh taste of cabbage! Just added a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.

So good! I was able to put this together really fast, too, by using my food processor to shred the cabbage. I had this for dinner with rice and thought it was a very satisfying meal. Thanks for sharing, Sharon!

Oh my, this is delicious! I love cabbage anyway but the flavor here is surprisingly complex (admittedly, I generously doubled the spices). The coconut does not stand out a lot but I could taste it. I also used just 1 Tbsp oil for sauteing, and needed to add some water to simmer it. It's really easy to eat cabbage this way! Thanks!

Wow! EVERYBODY loved this! I think the coconut got lost, tho. We loved the flavor. I used all the ingredients as suggested but only cooked it about 15 minutes total. A great dish! Thank you!

I really liked this! I didn't use the chili powder or the coconut, just because of the other things I was eating it with. I added a little salt to taste. Excellent way to prepare cabbage!

This is great cabbage! I did use a pinch of the optional chili powder. I thought it (and the other spices) went well with the subtle coconut flavor. Thanx for a unique cabbage recipe. It's a keeper for sure!

I absolutely loved this. Like Barb, I left out the chili powder, but otherwise left it the same. The mustard and tumeric add a very slight spiciness and the coconut adds a special sweetness. Don't be scared that it looks like a weird combo, it turns out great.

So good! I made it with cole slaw mix, so I didn't have to shred all that cabbage. It was quick and easy.

This was okay, but I found it bland. We made this with napa cabbage. We did add the chili powder, but I still found myself wanting more heat. I added a little hot sauce at the table, which was good. I used black mustard seeds. Next time I would try adding a few more spices or just more spices period. I served this with Fantastic Chicken Curry (#42882) by Sue L and basmati rice. Thanks for posting.
