"My version of the cabbage soup from the diet fad that went around."

• Yields: 24 cups aprox
• Serves: 24

ingredients

• 1 large head of cabbage (aprox 16 cups)
• 2 cups onions
• 2 cups green peppers
• 2 cups celery
• 2 cups green beans
• 2 cups carrots
• 1 (48 ounce) can V8 vegetable juice
• 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
• 1 (2 1/2 ounce) package onion soup mix
• 1⁄2 cup balsamic vinegar
• 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic clove
• 1⁄2 tablespoon pepper
• 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
• 1 tablespoon italian seasoning

directions

1. Put everything in a large pot and bring to a boil. Simmer till vegetables are to your liking.
