Thank you so much for sharing this. It is so easy to make and makes a large batch. I have used it with tortilla chips and also with fresh veggies. I have shared with my Weight Watchers group and have received lots of comments.

What a Surprise this was. It was delicious. I did puree half of the tomatoes to give it more of a picante' style texture. I made this for our Labor day weekend and it didn't last the first day! I used only one pepper and that was about the right heat for my family. Thank you Melissa, for this interesting recipe.

I love this stuff! A Mexican restaurant we used to frequent served this, and right before we moved I asked for the recipe. Our regular waiter was so upset to see us go that he shared the recipe with me. If you take out the sugar in your recipe and substitute it with the juice of one orange, then add some freshly ground black pepper, you have their recipe. I love that you can make is spicier or not, depending on taste. If I make it for a party, I add diced avocado. Never have any leftovers, and everyone always asks for the recipe!

My husband made this quick and delicious recipe today to compliment a hot sunny afternoon along side a plate of tortilla chips, a couple of iced cold Coronas and share good times with great neighbours. Perfect!!

Made this to go with our beef carna asada, ultimate restaurant salsa#189426, Spanish rice#20780 and what a delicious dish! I did leave out the tomatoes (already having a salsa with tomatoes) added some shredded carrots and a little oil to make it a little more like a salsa/slaw that we had in a Mexican restraurant...delicious! Definately will make this again and again. Thank you. Made for Bounce the Ball for Sumer Fun tag game.

Haven't tried this yet but I've been making a very similar dish for years. It calls for more garlic to taste, one tablespoon or more of mayo, no tomatoe, and use Siracha(chili/garlic sauce) for heat instead of the japs. It ends up being a semi-creamy slaw instead of a salsa. The addition of carrot, sweet pepper, and /or scallion only makes it better. Add some fresh tomatoe & lettuce & turn a fried shrimp taco into a "HEALTHY" meal. I'm ready for a change. Missy's Recipe can only be better. Thanks!!!

My girlfriends loved this. Later we used it for fish tacos. I added some extra jalapeno & some ancho as well. Very unique & very tasty. I think that any leftovers could be added to vegetable soup in the crock pot. I would have tried it, but didn't have any leftovers. Thanks very much!

I love this over ordinary fresh tomato salsa just about every time. If you want to get really fancy, add in some diced avocado. This is addictive!

This recipe is a must!! We like it a tiny bit hotter and add an extra jalapeno, but this is the best cabbage salsa recipe I have every tried!! It's incredible on fish tacos or makes a great alternative to the same old salsa and chips. It's even better the second day.
