This was really good :) I have been looking for a recipe like this and now I have one!! I followed the recipe exactly except I didn't have any marjoram so I added some garlic pepper for extra taste. Mine was done in 1 1/2 hours! Thanks for posting ...
i've tried making casseroles like this before and they always were bland. This one was very tasty. Will be my go to recipe from now on. Only thing I did different was that I had no marjoram ,so I put a little garlic powder in instead. VERY GOOD. 5 STARS
This is one of the best cabbage roll casserole I made. So much taste. The rice was cooked, no need to add more liquid. Thanks catsoplenty :) Made for cookbook tag game
If you like stuffed cabbage you will LOVE this easy unstuffed cabbage. The spices were terrific, It is so tasty and very easy to make. It smelled so good I was dying for it to be done, Thanks for posting catsoplenty, Made for PAC Spring 2010.
This recipe is delicious as written.I used ground turkey it is just as good. thanks for posting this is a keeper.
Excellent. I didn't really taste like the cabbage rolls that I am used to but it was a delicious cabbage, tomato casserole. Will definitely make it again.
My family also loved this recipe. I made it exactly as written except I cheated and used a 340g bag of store bought coleslaw mix with red cabbage, green cabbage and carrots. It took me 25 minutes to prepare in the morning and I kept it in the fridge till ready to bake for dinner. Baked for about an hour and it was perfect! Great dish for kids and my husband said I could make it again!
I made this using long grain brown rice. I upped the liquids using the following: a full jar of pasta sauce (24oz) and a full box of organic roasted red pepper bisque (17.6oz). I also used Italian seasoning and added garlic powder. I got a small head of cabbage and used the whole thing. Then I cooked it for 2 hours so that the rice would be cooked all the way through. It came out perfect! We served it with a crusty sour dough bread and my husband put the casserole on the bread and ate it like an open faced sandwich - it was delicious that way too. A huge hit! I will definitely be making this again! Thanks!
My husband's favorite! Great flavor with the rotel tomatoes! I used grass fed beef, which I usually don't care for, but it was great! This will be put on my weekly menu!
I did not change a thing and made it exactly as written. That way the revue is of your recipe as you posted it, and not with changes and substitutions. It was delicious, and there was nothing left. Everyone really liked it. It is a keeper.
