  • Shred the head of cabbage and put in a casserole dish.
  • In a sauce pan, heat the milk, butter, salt, pepper and celery seed to just under boiling.
  • Pour the sauce over the shredded cabbage and crunch the crackers over the top.
  • Cook at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes.
