- 4 cups cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 teaspoon caraway seed
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 8 ounces sour cream or 8 ounces yogurt

- Wash the cabbage well and place in a saucepan.
- Add the seasonings and cover.
- Heat the pan over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the sour cream/yogurt just before serving.
- It tastes delicious served hot or cold.
- I like it cold!
