- 1⁄2 lb ham, with bone or 1/2 lb chicken breast
- 1 medium head of cabbage
- 2 large onions
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 quart canned tomatoes or 1 quart tomato juice
- 10 ounces tomato soup
- 1⁄3 cup fresh dill leaves
- salt and pepper, to taste
directions
- Boil meat until tender.
- Add the vegetables, tomatoes and soup.
- Cook till tender and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add cream to taste.
