I didn't use fresh tomates because I did not have them. Instead I used a can of Italian style stewed tomatoes...this was absolutely great, and so easy to make. Will be making again and next time I am thinking that I am going to use a can of tomatoes with green chilis to get that extra bite! Thanks for a great recipe.

This dish was fabulous! My wife and I loved it and I'll be making it again next weekend for friends :-). I used celery salt instead of just plain salt and it really seemed to work. Also, halved the flour (I like my sauces a little more watery).

This is delicious, and I can only imagine how good it will be this summer with "real" tomatoes. It was quick and easy. Thanks, Sharon, for a keeper.

A wonderful cabbage and tomato dish exactly as written. I served it with roast pork and mashed potatoes. It tastes just like my sister Mary's recipe which I have been trying to duplicate for years! Thanks for posting.

Very good side dish, love cabbage with caraway seeds and with the addition of the tomatoes it is flavourful, next time I make it I will cut back a bit on the flour, the sauce was a wee bit too thick for us, but non the less tasty! thanks for posting.

I loved this! Cabbage, tomatoes and caraway go so well together. I also added 1 minced shallot. I like that the cabbage still has some crunch to it and the tomatoes were soft. Simple and delicious. I'll make this again; thanx.

I believe I followed the directions carefully but this just didn't turn out. Neither of us could eat it. I used red cabbage and yellow tomatoes. Perhaps that was the problem. The texture and color were fine. The flavor was the problem.
