From Taste of Home, this is the best corn bread recipe I've tried. It's slightly sweet and very tender.

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Combine eggs and milk.
  4. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with egg mixture.
  5. Pour into greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  6. Bake for 22-27 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

This is the best corn bread I've ever had! I've been dying to find a really good recipe and have had a hard time. My 2 year old daughter devoured this, and she tends to be a light eater. This one's a keeper!
