This cake is awesome! I added cinnamon to the batter as well for extra flavor. I found the topping to be more then I'd like so next time, think I'll half the topping. The batter also seemed thick but baked up nicely. I do think next time I'll add a bit more milk or egg. Still turned out great though.

With the abundant crop of apples this year from our trees I was looking for a good apple bread recipe, this fit the bill. It was very tasty, moist, and flavorful. The streusel running through the middle of the loaf is the best!

This was a great cake. Easy to stir together, easy to eat. In fact, the four of us almost polished it off in one day. (but I hid a slice for my morning coffee) Thanks for posting!

This was tasty and fairly easy to put together. I made the streusel in the food processor and did not melt the butter, but used very cold butter. I added about a 1/2 cup of the apples to the batter itself and then used the rest as directed. I also had about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of streusel leftover because it was not going to fit into the pan! Reason being, my loaf pan is slightly smaller than what was called for. It was filled to the top and I put the loaf pan on a baking sheet in the oven just in case it decided to bubble over, which it did not. Great with a cuppa tea! Thanks!
