Butterscotch Sauce

• Yields: 3 cups

ingredients

• 2 cups packed brown sugar
• 2⁄3 cup light corn syrup
• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 1⁄2 cup light cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Combine the sugar, corn syrup and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes and stir in the cream and vanilla. Cool to room temperature and store in the refrigerator.
