I have always loved this recipe since I was young..especially served with a few chunks of bananas and a little bit of milk on top.

Directions

  1. Scald the milk until almost boiling.
  2. Mix brown sugar, corn starch, salt in a bowl.
  3. gradually stir part of scalded milk into dry ingredients.
  4. Stir back into remaining milk and cook over low heat until it starts to thicken up.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  7. Pour into 4 dessert dishes. Keep refrigerated.
  8. Can be served warm or cold. Yum! :).
