From my grandmothers handwritten collection. A no bake treat. No name, dated at 1955. Chill time is cooking time. Caramels could be used in place of the butterscotch.

Directions

  1. On top of a double boiler, melt the butterscotch and peanut butter. Stir until completely smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and add the flakes and mix carfully to not crush them.
  3. Drop teaspoons of the mix on to a lined baking tray.
  4. Chill until firm (about 30 minutes).

these are soooo easy 3 ingredients and no cooking . i melted them in steel mixing bowl over the meat for diners meat pie it didnt take long and we had these easy cookies mr picky loved them i think i used a little more peanut butter though cause i just eyeballed it made for zaar world tour 8
