- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 cup coconut
directions
- Combine and beat sugar and butter until fluffy; add eggs and blend. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add to butter mixture, 1 cup at a time. Add nuts. Spread into a large 11x17 well greased pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Batter will be thick and hard to spread.
