Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Line a 9 x 13 x 2” rectangular pan with aluminum foil.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Sift bread flour, cake flour and salt 3x.
  5. Set aside.
  6. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low fire.
  7. Remove from heat the transfer in the bowl of the mixer.
  8. Add brown sugar, liquid glucose and vanilla extract.
  9. Beat on medium speed until combined.
  10. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until blended.
  11. At low speed, add dry ingredients and cashew nuts.
  12. Pour mixture into the prepared pan.
  13. Bake fro 30-45 minutes until top is firm.
  14. Cool on wire rack.
  15. Cut into bars.
