Absolutely easy to make. Great teaching recipe for young kids to learn steps of cooking, no power tools needed. Makes the house smell amazing. Kylie wanted to sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top to add "her own touch". This one will defintely be one that makes repeat performances in our house. We often have a bit of buttermilk left over and this makes great use of it. -

I grew up in a very small town. We cooked all the time because there was only one restaurant - Dairy Queen. After I got married, I moved to Houston. I was a teacher and worked late every night, so we ate out all the time - which I thought was a real treat! I went back to school to get my Master's degree in Library Science - and again we ate out all the time. When I finished my degree I had my son. I cooked a little more but still not that much. Last March I had a beautiful set of twin girls. My husband and I decided that it would be best for me to stay home and raise our children. This meant that I would start cooking. I have found that I love cooking.
