DH adored this dessert, and has asked for it to be put into my handwritten cookbook. I liked it a little less, but that was definiately due to my personal taste in desserts rather than there being anything at all wrong with this recipe :) One of our houseguests chose this recipe for us and made it too... I didn't have any whipped cream to accompany it with so presented the dish with some chocolate shavings scattered over the top. We used 2.5 teaspoons of gelatine and the consistancy was excellent. Buttermilk is called "Karnemelk" here in The Netherlands and it gives this recipe a little something extra that using ordinary milk just wouldn't give. We were impressed by the ease of making, simplicity of the recipe, but most of all the great taste. Please see my rating system, a very well deserved 4 stars. Thanks !!!

Excellent and far better and easier than another buttermilk panna cotta recipe I tried recently. Nice texture and flavor. Thanks!

Wow! I had never heard of panna cotta before, so this is the first one I've tried. I served mine with strawberry coulis (also new to me) and I very much enjoyed this. Thank-you!

This was great! So simple and enjoyable, and the buttermilk really makes the dish. Now I know what to do when I have leftover buttermilk. Oh, and I topped it with raspberry puree. Thanks!

Props to the man who decided to put buttermilk in panna cotta. I didn't notice the recommendation for what to put on top of it, I put blueberries in juice with lemon juice and port on top and the whole thing was perfect. This recipe is the perfect approach to panna cotta, 5 stars.

Super easy & fast to prepare. Short ingredient list; you can't go wrong. If you're having a dinner party, this is the kind of simple dessert that will wow your guests and can be made well ahead of time. Served this with a sweetened raspberry puree.

Really loved this! I cut the recipe down to serve 2 people and it turned out wonderfully! It would be excellent with some berries on top. Very different but very tasty.
