These were such yummy cookies. I have to say that I was a little worried about the dough, as it wasnt thick like normal doughs, but these turned out wonderful! I will be making these again when I have some extra buttermilk! *NOTE* Make sure you do grease with cooking spray every time.

  1. Stir flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at time.
  4. Stir in the vanilla and buttermilk alternately with the dry ingredients.
  5. Cover dough and chill several hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  7. Grease cookie sheets.
  8. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  9. Combine the Cinnamon and sugar, sprinkle onto each cookie.
  10. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.
