A simple and very reliable dumpling dough, great with both savoury and sweet fillings. It can be frozen and is very easy to work with.

  1. Put the ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Knead until pliable.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
  4. Using a glass, cut out disks.
  5. Place a bit of the filling of your choice over each disk and crimp well.
  6. Cook in boiling water or broth until the dough becomes firm and the dumplings float to the surface.
