This dressing tastes the best when it's almost ice cold !
- 3⁄4 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄2 cup cucumber, peeled, seeded and finely chopped
- Mix ingredients together and chill for several hours.
- Shake or stir well before serving.
I made this tonight for our salads and DH really loved the flavors, but wished it was a little thicker. I did refrigerate ~ 2 hours before serving, maybe not quite long enough. Will definitely make this again. Thanks PrimQuilter for a great salad dressing recipe. Made for FALL 2008 PAC. :)
