Buttermilk Biscuits

- 4 cups flour
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 7 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups buttermilk
directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Mix all the dry ingredients together. Cut in butter, blend with a fork until it's a bit like oatmeal.
- Add buttermilk last and blend only until mixed. Do not overwork the dough. Put dough on a floured surface, and press to about 2-inches thick. Cut into circles with a glass or cup of your choice.
- Keep in mind they almost double in height rising in the oven while baking.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Let cool on countertop and enjoy with your favorite jelly!

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
