This is a wonderful way to prepare lobster tails for a restaurant style presentation. I had a little trouble with the shells cracking too much so I need a little practice. However, the lobster was delicious! Be sure to use unsalted butter for the marinade or it will be too salty. Thanks so much.
This was the best lobster ever! My very picky family declared that they never want another lobster from a restaurant because this was way better. I can't wait to try this marinade on fish too. Thank you so much for sharing!
OMG! This was a great marinade. I've worked in fine dining restaurants for 20 years and believe this was better than most I've had in restaurants. I changed the 1/2 cup butter to half butter & half olive oil. Conserve on some calories and I added fresh minced garlic instead of powder. Thanks very very yummy=)
Oh man, was this heavenly!! My sweetheart prepped the lobsters while I made the marinade.. I used Hungarian paprika and black pepper in mine.. Then we grilled them on our Traeger Wood Pellet grill with pecan pellets. It was over the top amazing.. I barely melted the butter so it was more like a thick emulsified slurry which covered the lobster tails really well. Im saving this recipe because we will definitely be using it again! Thanks for a great one!
My boyfriend surprised me with lobster this evening using this recipe...it was absolutely incredible. Perfectly done, just enough flavor, tender, and not dry at all, like lobster sometimes gets. Amazing recipe, and the best lobster I've ever had in my life!
Excellent!!!! I used half the recipe on two 6 ounce tails. I baked for 6 minutes between applying the sauce mixture (18 minutes) and they didn't look done enough so I broiled for another 4 minutes to get a nice brown on top! Fantastic and I served with the rest of the sauce after applying some more before serving.
This is the best lobster recipe I have ever made! No kidding. Very easy and very tasty. I could see using this marinade for other seafood.
Butter mixture was finger licken good! Cooked 3 1lb tails which came out moist and succulent. Delish!
