  • In a medium skillet over moderate heat melt 2 tablespoons butter, add parsley and sliced beets.
  • Warm through, season with salt and serve.

  1. I have never been a fan of canned beets. Have often used them to make Harvard Beets. I was needing a quick side and had a can of beets in the pantry. Not sugary and allowed the flavor of the beets to come through. Something I am sure to make again. Thank you for posting this recipe.

  5. I don't particularly like canned beets but this made them taste good. I used sweet (unsalted) butter, sea salt plus the rest. Made for Veggie Swap 32 ~ March 2011.
