"These are a great addition to the butter tart family. We often us a margarine /butter combo or just margarine. Then we call them "margarine tarts". They disappear just as fast."

ingredients

4 eggs
3 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup butter
4 tablespoons vinegar
¹⁄₂ cup raisins or 1/2 cup currants
prepared butter prepared tart shells

directions

Beat eggs well. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Then add butter and vinegar, stir. Then add rasins or currants (if desired). After stirring it all up fill tart shells 2/3 full. Bake tarts until light brown. Then enjoy.
