      This tastes like caramel! It's really yummy. It makes closer to four cups of syrup, not one (it starts with a 16 oz can of evap. milk and 2 cups sugar). I think it might need to be boiled longer...the syrup has a funny texture, it looks gritty yet tastes smooth, and still tastes great. Thanks!

      This syrup is amazing! So easy and SO yummy! We received something like this from a neighbor for Christmas and my kids haven't stopped asking for more! We are all so happy that I found this recipe!! I did let it boil for 2-3 minutes and took it off the heat before adding butter and vanilla.

      This syrup was a very flavorful syrup. I served this with NurseDi's Autumn Pancakes #107623. I cooked my syrup a little longer because just bringing it to a boil made to thin a syrup for us. I used a 12 oz. can of evaporated milk. Thanks Shirl (J) 831
