      This was awesome! One of my triplet daughters requested pineapple upside down cake for their birthday celebration and this is the recipe I used. I used dark rum instead of spiced rum and it was perfect! This will be my recipe for pineapple upside down cake from now on!

      Oh so yummy!!!! I made this as written, using my large cast iron skillet, except left out the nuts as my kids don't care for them. This has a great texture and absolutely wonderful carmelized topping!! It definitely lives up to its name. To me, a cake mix doesn't compare to this type of homemade cake. Thanks for sharing the recipe Alli. Made for Holiday Tag Game.
