This is a simple recipe out of a church cookbook that is always a hit at our get togethers.
- 1 (18 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix
- 1 (16 ounce) can coconut pecan frosting
- 4 eggs
- 2⁄3 cup pecans, to cover bottom of pan
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄4 cup margarine
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- Layer pecans on bottom of greased pan. Combine cake mix,milk,and oil.Add pecan frosting to cake mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. For icing: Combine cream cheese,margarine and powdered sugar.Frost cake when completely cool.
