I enjoy using my bread machine. This is a good one.
- 236.59 ml water
- 29.58 ml margarine
- 29.58 ml honey
- 473.18 ml bread flour
- 118.29 ml whole wheat flour
- 78.07 ml powdered milk
- 4.92 ml salt
- 7.08 g package active dry yeast
- Put ingredients into bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Process for large (1-1/2 pound) loaf, wheat setting.
Have been trying bread recipes, in my machine, for 5years. and this is one of the best. Just a hint of wheat & honey. great texture,with a crispy crust.I did use butter.and the light setting.makes wonderful toast.Thank you Liz.
This recipe produced a lovely, light loaf of bread. The bread rose to the top of the bread pan. I used regular all-purpose flour because I did not have bread flour and I used 2 tablespoons of butter rather than margarine. I set the machine to the 'light' crust setting. Give this recipe a try. I think you'll be pleased.
