This is so easy to make and it is really good. It was my Grandma's only frosting recipe.

  1. Combine all ingredients except milk in small bowl.
  2. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often and gradually adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency.
  3. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
  4. Variations:.
  5. Cocoa Frosting - stir in 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa. Increase milk to 5 to 6 tablespoons.
  6. Peppermint Frosting - stir in 1 teaspoons peppermint extract and 3 to 4 drops red food color.
