This came out great. I did as deliverme and added the 1.5 tablespoons of baking powder to regular flour. Everyone loved it.

I substituted reg flour for self-rising and added 1.5 tablespoons of baking powder. I also sifted the dry ingrediants which made the bread lighter. Excellent!!

Excellent! This came out so perfect & it was even easy to slice, which is unsual for many beer quick breads. The crust was so crispy & buttery rich, and I loved the additional of the fresh parsley in this. I would like to try any variety of fresh herbs. It looked lovely as well. Very tasty, thanks!
