This drink is an excellent after dinner drink and rates at 18% alcohol. The consistency should be almost like a milk shake.
- 4 ounces cream of coconut (CocoLopez)
- 2 ounces Kahlua
- 1 ounce Bacardi dark rum
- 1 ounce dark Creme de Cacao
- 4 ounces milk or 4 ounces half-and-half
- 2 cups ice
- Combine in blender, blend until smooth, serves two in 12 oz cups.
This is a perfect Bushwhacker recipe! I top mine with a couple cherries. I could drink these all summer long!
I was a little worried about the coconut and Kahlua together, but with everything else it came out tasting great! It was very creamy and made for a great dessert :)
This is a great drink I (Bird) have had many times (albeit years ago) and was wanting to post it, but found it here and am so happy to rekindle the memories of this fabulous tasting drink. We did post another version, St. Thomas Bushwhacker and referenced this recipe there. :)
