This is a very hearty chili,it can be served with either cornbread or crackers.

  1. Brown ground beef in heavy dutch oven or soup pot.
  2. Add chili powder while browning and mix in well.
  3. Add onion and pepper to meat and brown for 2 minutes.
  4. Drain off excess grease.
  5. Stir in remaining ingredients except for cheese and sour cream.
  6. Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Serve with shredded cheese and dollop of sour cream.

Awesome recipe I add chorizo instead and always make the day before. Always better the second day.
