Sauce for your burger. Also goes great with chicken and fried fish sandwiches.
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1⁄2 cup yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons A.1. Original Sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl with a whisk till they are fully incorporated and there are no lumps. Refrigerate and serve immediately.
I made a 1/4 of a recipe. To me the dominant taste is ketchup. This sauce was good, but I'm not sure that either DH or DS would choose it over their regular burger fixings. Since I don't eat ketchup on my burger it was just ok.
Great recipe!!! I made this exactly as written and we loved it. I used tonight as a dip for french fries and will use it again on grilled hamburgers tomorrow. The flavor was outstanding! Thanks for sharing. Made for PAC 2011.
Followed the recipe almost exactly (but did use only 3/4 teaspoon of the Tabasco sauce) & had a great sauce for grilled burgers! Another time, though, I might substitute lemon pepper for the usual S&P! Thanks for sharing your recipe! [Made & reviewed in New Kids on the Block tag]
