- 1 1⁄2 lbs round steaks, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oil, seperated (canola, or sesame)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 3 carrots, sliced or julienned
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 cups cooked rice
directions
- Mix sugar, soy sauce, 1 tablespoons oil, onions, water, and garlic. Stir in steak, coating well. Cover, allow to sit for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Toast the sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
- Heat 1 tablespoons oil in a skillet. Add beef mixture and carrots. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until done. You may cover and cook on low heat until steak is tender. Serve over rice.
