I appreciate an easy recipe that tastes good! My 15 yr old son made this as a side dish to smoked turkey legs. It is an easy and a flavorful addition to any meal!

  1. Melt 2 Tblsp. butter in a large skillet over medium to high heat.
  2. Add onion, and stirring constantly, fry until soft, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add bulgar and remaining 2 Tblsp. of butter and fry for another minute, stirring constantly to mix well.
  4. Stir in water or broth, and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for about 25 minutes until bulgar is tender.
  6. Add salt to taste, stir well. Serve warm.
